Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility
The HHTU are committed to ensuring equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) are at the centre of our research and practices. To achieve this, the HHTU EDIA Working Group was established in 2025 to identify EDIA priorities and areas for improvement. Through this, we aim to embed the principles of EDIA into every aspect of our research trials, from grant application through to dissemination. This will enable us to produce outcomes that are relevant and useable by treated populations, on a nationwide level.
Our EDIA strategy 2026-2029, which can be found below, sets out the HHTU commitment to making health research inclusive for all, and outlines our aims and objectives for the next 3 years.
